Trip to Los Angeles

Today I went on one of many frequent trips to Los Angeles to see the Norton Simon art museum and spend some of my birthday cash. My first stop was to the Norton Simon which I found to be very unique compared to LACMA and The Ghetty. It was much smaller than the other museums but, in a good way. The museum was not overwhelming with random and stupid exhibitions of "Picasso's receipts" and "Warhol's tool" or whatever. It was simple and full of the necessary pieces to make it a good museum. Some of the best pieces I though they had was some Renbrant self portraits, Picasso's, and a very kool outdoor sculpture garden.

From there we went to The Grove, where we walked on 3rd street to find a nice place to eat. We chose to eat at Doughboys, which was really good. I started off with a Cafe au lait and ordered the Meaty Mac and Cheese

Next we went to one of my favorite stores in the whole world Flight Club on fairfax. This store is very underground and I have never met anyone else who has been to this store. Its unmarked and blacked out so you dont even know it exists but, once you go inside you will never forget where it is. It is wall to wall of some of the most rare and new sneakers from around the world. Sadly I did not buy any because I did not have enough money. Also on the return back from Flight Club I scored a piece of a David Choe wheat paste poster.

Next we went for a quick trip to The beverly center where I went to H&M and bought some jeans. Then we went to Melrose where we went to celebrate my birthday at 8oz. Burger Bar. This place was amazing! I ordered a custom burger with bacon, avocado, FRIED MOZZARELLA, and balsamic grilled onions. It was sooo good. I defiantly recommend everyone to go to this place sometime.

Also here is some extra picks from my adventure.
